Let's share kitchen traditions and stories! Learn from older adults in our community and make dishes that reflect our diversity, from one generation to the next.

This series is made possible through the New Horizons for Seniors Grant.

The room capacity is limited. All individuals planning to be inside the kitchen during the program must be registered as a participant. This includes any adult accompanying a child. Please contact the VMC service desk if you have questions.


May 7 - Italian Treats: Pizzelle, Biscotti and Corstata, presented by Dolores Zezima

May 22 - Brazilian Feijoada with Rice & Collard Greens, presented by Solange Tobias (no pork)

June 4 - Dutch Pancakes & West Indian Chicken Curry, presented by Lekha Lutchmansingh

June 19 – Aloo tikki and mango lassi, presented by Uma Sundardas

June 24 - Cantonese Wontons, presented by Linda Louie (includes pork & shrimp)

Our kitchen programs are held in the VSES Teaching Kitchen, located on the third floor.
